China’ s alumina output in December was about 5.78 million tons, and non-aluminum alumina was about 120,000 tons. In terms of imports, it is expected that China’ s alumina imports in December will continue to increase. A conservative estimate is that alumina imports in December will be 361,300 tons. The output of electrolytic aluminum is about 3.03 million tons. Based on the calculation of a single consumption of 1.93 tons per ton of aluminum and aluminum oxide, it is estimated that China's alumina supply will be 173,400 tons in December, which will still show a slight surplus.
